नयी दिल्ली। राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद, उप राष्ट्रपति एम. वेंकैया नायडू और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने देशवासियों को रविवार को रक्षाबंधन की शुभकामनाएं दीं ।
राष्ट्रपति कोविंद ने रविवार को ट्विटर पर अपने संदेश में कहा, “ रक्षा बंधन पर सभी देशवासियों को बधाई। इस पर्व का उल्लास हमारे बीच भाईचारे की भावना को मजबूत बनाये और हमें ऐसा समाज बनाने की प्रेरणा दे जहां महिलाओं, विशेषकर बालिकाओं की सुरक्षा और गरिमा का हमेशा सम्मान किया जाता हो।”

नायडू ने कहा कि पूरे देश भर में रक्षाबंधन का त्यौहार मनाया जाता है जो भाई-बहन के बीच प्रेम और स्नेह के मजबूत बंधन की पुष्टि करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह त्योहार हमारे समाज में महिलाओं को पारंपरिक रूप से दिए गए उच्च स्थान को भी परिपुष्ट करता है।
