पीएम मोदी ने कोहली, चानू को खेल रत्न की दी बधाई
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने क्रिकेट स्टार विराट कोहली और विश्व चैंपियन महिला भारोत्तोलक मीराबाई चानू को देश के सर्वोच्च खेल सम्मान राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न तथा अन्य खेेल हस्तियों को विभिन्न पुरस्कारों
नयी दिल्ली । प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने क्रिकेट स्टार विराट कोहली और विश्व चैंपियन महिला भारोत्तोलक मीराबाई चानू को देश के सर्वोच्च खेल सम्मान राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न तथा अन्य खेेल हस्तियों को विभिन्न पुरस्कारों सेे सम्मानित किये जाने पर बधाई दी है।
मोदी ने ट्वीट किया , “ डियर वी कोहली, खेल रत्न सम्मान के लिए बधाई। एक बैट्समेन और कप्तान के रूप में आपने देश का काफी नाम रौशन किया है। भारतीय युवाओं में आपकी लोकप्रियता अद्भुत है। आपके अच्छे भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं।”

उल्लेखनीय है कि राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने मंगलवार को राष्ट्रपति भवन में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय खेल पुरस्कार समारोह में श्री कोहली और सुश्री चानू को राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न और 20 खिलाड़ियों को अर्जुन पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया था।
