राष्ट्रपति मनोज वाजपेयी और गौतम गंभीर समेत 54 को दिए पद्म पुरस्कार

नई दिल्ली । राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने आज 54 प्रतिष्ठित लोगों को पद्म पुरस्कार प्रदान किए, जिनमें वैज्ञानिक एस. नंबी नारायणण और अभिनेता मनोज बाजपेयी शामिल हैं। गणतंत्र दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर इस वर्ष के पद्म पुरस्कारों के लिए 112 हस्तियों की घोषणा की गई थी और 47 गणमान्य लोगों को 11 मार्च को पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया था।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह और अन्य मंत्रियों में हर्षवर्धन, राज्यवर्धन सिंह राठौर व विजय गोयल आदि की उपस्थिति में राष्ट्रपति भवन के दरबार हॉल में शनिवार को शेष पुरस्कार प्रदान किए गए।
पुरस्कार पाने वालों में लोक गायिका तीजन बाई, लार्सन एंड टूब्रो के चेयरमैन अनिल कुमार नाईक, राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के नेता दर्शन लाल जैन, एमडीएच के संस्थापक सीईओ महाशय धरम पाल गुलाटी, प्रसिद्ध तबला वादक स्वपन चौधरी, आरएसएस के मुखपत्र 'पांचजन्य' के पूर्व संपादक देवेंद्र स्वरूप और लद्दाख के सर्जन सेरिंग नोरबू शामिल हैं।
