ट्विटर पर दुष्कर्म और हत्या करने की धमकी देने की अनुमति नहीं: फरहान अख्तर

मुंबई। फिल्मकार एवं अभिनेता फरहान अख्तर का कहना है कि ट्विटर पर दुष्कर्म और हत्या करने की धमकी देने की अनुमति नहीं दी सकती या ऐसा करने वालों को बख्शना नहीं चाहिए।

फरहान ने देर रात ट्वीट कर कहा, "ट्विटर के शीर्ष प्रबंधन को इस पर फैसला लेना चाहिए कि वे अपनी सेवा को किस चीज के लिए याद रखा जाना पसंद करेंगे।"

उन्होंने कहा, "अगर यह अच्छे के लिए है तो फिर उन्हें अपने व्यवस्थापन में बेहतर बनाने की जरूरत है। दुष्कर्म या हत्या करने की धमकी देने की अनुमति नहीं दी जा सकती या ऐसा करने वालों को बिना सजा के नहीं बख्शा जा सकता।"

गौरतलब है कि हिंदुत्व पर अपनी राय देने के बाद अभिनेत्री ऋचा चड्ढा को दुष्कर्म और हत्या की धमकी मिली थी, जिसके बाद फरहान ने यह ट्वीट किया।

जब ऋचा ने ट्विटर यूजर्स की ओर से दुष्कर्म व हत्या की धमकी दिए जाने के मामले की रिपोर्ट करने का प्रयास किया तो सोशल साइट ने अपनी प्रतिक्रिया में कहा, "यह उल्लंघन के दायरे में नहीं आता।"

ऋचा ने गुरुवार रात फरहान की टिप्पणी को री-ट्वीट किया।
