नई दिल्ली। आंध्र प्रदेश की तेलुगू देसम पार्टी (तेदेपा) शुक्रवार को केंद्र के राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (राजग) से अलग हो गई। तेदेपा के राज्यसभा सांसद वाई.एस. चौधरी ने बताया, "हां, हमारी पार्टी (तेदेपा) राजग गठबंधन से अलग हो गई है।"

यह फैसला केंद्र सरकार द्वारा आंध्र प्रदेश को विशेष राज्य का दर्जा दिए जाने से इनकार के बाद उठाया गया।
इससे पहले, आठ मार्च को तेदेपा के दो मंत्रियों अशोक गजपति राजू और वाई.एस. चौधरी ने नरेंद्र मोदी मंत्रिमंडल से इस्तीफा दे दिया था।
