टोरंटो। कनाडा की जूनियर हॉकी टीम की बस दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गई, जिसमें 14 लोगों की मौत हो गई। इस दुर्घटना में 14 अन्य घायल हुए हैं। पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, यह दुर्घटना सैस्केचवेन में हुई।
'सीबीसी न्यूज' की रपट से यह पता चला है कि शुक्रवार को हुई इस दुर्घटना के दौरान बस में 28 लोग सवार थे, जब सामान ढोने वाली एक गाड़ी (सेमी-ट्रेलर) बस से टकरा गई।
इस दुर्घटना में घायल हुए लोगों में से तीन की हालत गंभीर है। हालांकि, पुलिस ने अभी इसकी पुष्टि नहीं की है कि दुर्घटना में मरने वाले लोग खिलाड़ी हैं या कोच?
सैस्केचवेन जूनियर हॉकी लीग की द निपाविन हॉक्स टीम ने कहा कि हमबोल्ट ब्रोंकोस टीम की बस इस दुर्घटना में शामिल है, जो निपाविन जा रही थी।
प्रधानमंत्री जस्टिन टड्रो ने ट्विटर के जरिए मरने वालों के प्रति अपनी सांत्वना जाहिर करते हुए कहा, "मैं सोच भी नहीं सकता कि ये अभिभावक किस दुख से गुजर रहे होंगे और मेरा समर्थन उन सभी के साथ है, जो इस दुर्घटना से प्रभावित हुए हैं।"
