भाजपा ने पीएनबी घोटाले में कांग्रेस के नेताओं के शामिल होने का आरोप दोहराया
नयी दिल्ली। भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) ने पंजाब नेशनल बैंक (पीएनबी) घोटाले में कांग्रेस के नेताओं के शामिल होने का आरोप दोहराते हुए आज फिर कहा कि मोदी सरकार को जैसे ही इस मामले की जानकारी हुयी, उसने ठोस कार्रवाई की है।
भाजपा की वरिष्ठ नेता और रक्षा मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने यहां संवाददाता सम्मेलन में कहा कि संयुक्त प्रगतिशील गठबंधन सरकार के दौरान 2011 में बैंक के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के सहयोग से घोटाले की शुरुआत हुयी थी । उस अधिकारी ने नीरव मोदी की कम्पनी गीतांजलि जेम्स को रिण के लिए जो लेटर आफ अंडरस्टेंडिंग (एलओयू) जारी किया उसे कोर बैंकिंग सिस्टम में नहीं डाला जाता था । उस अधिकारी के सेवानिवृत होने के बाद घोटाले की जानकारी हुयी ।

सीतारमण ने कहा कि कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने सरकारी पद और प्रशासनिक प्रणाली का दुरुपयोग कर घोटाला किया और अब लोगों को गुमराह करने के लिए झूठ का सहारा लेकर सरकार पर आरोप लगा रहे हैं । उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि वर्ष 2002 में नीरव मोदी की एक कम्पनी में कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी की पत्नी अनिता सिंघवी और पुत्र आविष्कार मानव सिंघवी शेयरधारक थे।
