गौरी लंकेश की बर्बर हत्या के बाद सोशल मीडिया पर किस क़दर ज़हर उगला जा रहा!

नई दिल्ली। कन्नड़ साप्ताहिक अखबार की संपादक, वरिष्ठ पत्रकार व सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता गौरी लंकेश के परिवार ने कहा है कि उनका (लंकेश) अंतिम संस्कार बेंगलूरू में बुधवार को किया जाएगा। मंगलवार रात को अज्ञात हमलावरों ने गोली मारकर उनकी हत्या कर दी थी।

उनके भाई इंद्रजीत ने यहां बुधवार को विक्टोरिया अस्पताल में संवाददाताओं को बताया, "गौरी का अंतिम संस्कार शहर के चामराज पेट कब्रिस्तान में किया जाएगा।"अस्पताल में गौरी का पोस्टमॉटर्म किया जा रहा है।

इंद्रजीत ने कहा, "उनका पार्थिव शरीर लोगों के दर्शन के लिए समसा बायालु रंगमंदिरा (ओपन एयर थिएटर) में रखा जाएगा।"उन्होंने बताया कि गौरी की इच्छानुसार उनकी आंखें दान कर दी गई हैं।

उन्होंने जांच में भरोसा जताते हुए कहा, "पिछली रात से जांच जारी है। मुझे पूरा भरोसा है कि हत्यारे जल्द ही पकड़े जाएंगे।"इंद्रजीत ने कहा कि पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज ले लिया है और मुझे पूरा भरोसा है कि हत्यारों की पहचान जल्द ही हो जाएगी।

लंकेश (55) की तीन अज्ञात व्यक्तियों ने उस समय गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी जब वह अपने कार्यालय से घर लौटी थीं। उन पर सात गोलियां दागी गई थीं।बेंगलूरू पुलिस आयुक्त टी. सुनील कुमार ने मंगलवार को संवाददाताओं को बताया कि हमलावरों द्वारा चलाई गई गोलियों में से चार निशाने से चूक गईं और घर की दीवार पर जा लगीं, जबकि दो गोलियां उनके सीने में और एक गोली उनके सिर में लगी।"

गौरी लोकप्रिय कन्नड़ टेबलॉयड 'लंकेश पत्रिके' की संपादक थीं। भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेताओं के खिलाफ एक रिपोर्ट प्रकाशित करने को लेकर उनके खिलाफ मानहानि का मुकदमा दायर किया गया। नवंबर 2016 में इस मामले में उन्हें छह माह जेल की सजा हुई थी।
